I installed the CompuStar 2w8000 FMR remote starter a few days ago on my 2001 civic.  everything works fine for the first couple of days.  but somehow the shock sensor is not working right now.   Before when i turn on the alarm, on teh windshield, i knock on the sensor "KNOCK HERE" that sticker part. i knock a few times lightly, the LED will stop flashing and become solid.  and the alarm will beep once and it will send signal to the pager.  but now it is not work.  i knock the window harder, the alarm actually sounds instead of BEEP..

does anyone know hwat happen

i guess the FIRST STAGE SHOCK SENSOR is not working.  the LED do go solid just that it won't beep.  anyone can help?

That is not the shock sensor..that is the pager/knock sensor. It pages the owner or driver when you knock on that. The shock sensor is seperate. Did you even mount the shock sensor ? It sounds like you did since the shock sensor is triggering the alarm when you hit harder.
First Stage is warn away..pre-trigger.. second stage is full trigger. First stage is the chirps you get to warn potential intruders.. Second stage is the full blast of the siren..
Check your wiring for loose connections.. If everything is in place..welcome to compustar's reliability..only more to come..

You probably turned off the RPS from the remote control. Look at page 7 of the user guide and it tells you how to turn this function on/off. If it worked before and didn't work after a couple of times, chances are it's a user error, not a CPU problem.
