I have a problem that i have ideas about but would like other peoples input

On older model fords late 70's, early 80's they did something weird. most cars blinkers would not flash if one of the tail light bulbs for the corresponding side was burnt out, it was a saftey feature.

My problem, I replaced the tail light bulbs with a series of LED's....the LED's draw a very small amount of power, making the car "think" that the tail lights are burnt out, so the blinkers do not flash

I was thinking of wiring in relays in series on each side using only  pins 85 and 86 to put a bigger draw on the wire but i do not think the coil in a relay will draw enough either as it only uses a small amount of power (the beauty of relays)

the break signal and blinker comes in on the same wire (same light for both)

Any suggestions would be great

You need a 6 ohm, 50 watt resistors for each side to similate a 2 amp load of a regular filament bulb.  This will solve your "burnt out" indications.  The resistors aren't the garden variety resistors which are 1/4 to 1/2 watt resistors.  They are longer, in a metal body, and have mounting tabs.
