Can I mix two different 12 subs in seperate boxes to one mono amp?

Sure, as long as the amp can handle the total load.

well, you CAN do that but, dont you think it will sound like crap?? 2 different subs, 2 different power ratings, 2 different enclosure sizes, different, xmax, sq, spl, specs.  in other words, i dont think that the subs will move in unison creating the type of bass you might not like.

How it might sound wasn't the question, actually, and given the proper application it might sound just fine.  The question was about the amp.  The amp won't care unless it gets overloaded.
