I've had the radio for a couple of years and evey thing works fin except the display doesn't want to stay on. Sometimes half of the display is off or some time there is vertical bars and somtimes not diplay at all. I'm guessing this is the cable from the headunit to the face going out. I was going to buy another one but wanted to know has anybody chnaged the cable themselves? If so how easy is it to do?

It is the cable...I had my go out..twice.

I took mine to a kenwood service and they cut me a break on the labor.  The actual parts came out to be around 45 or so, I think.  Because its not just the cable that gets replaced.
