I have two Audiobahn AWP312T subs and i want to stay with audiobahn so i sent an email to their tech support and this is what they said...

I recommend the A4125HCT with each sub wired in parallel and then one sub wired to bridged channels 1 and 2 and the other sub to bridged channels 3 and 4

Now can someone please tell me what the heck they just said?

Um... really confusing at first, but then I realized what he/she is saying.

Basically you are going to use the subs as the bridge. You are going to wire your subs in parallel to the first and second channels like normal. And then you wire the 3rd and 4th channels to one of the subs.

Does that make sense?

Be sure to the +/- connections right, or else you'll fry the amp.

Ok, the subs should be wired parallel, so on the subs the wire it + to + and - to -. Then hook each sub up to the amp, first sub bridged to channels 1 and 2, usually left+ right- on the amp. Then do the same to the other sub except using channel 3 and 4. Verify amplifiers bridging channels. You shouldn't be using a 4 channel amp for bass. This configuration could also cause damage to your amplifier if the subs are dual 4 ohm subs, your subs are audiobahn so I won't bother looking them up.

Yeah, that idiot is telling you to fry that amp. If you wire the dual 2 ohm coils in parallel you'll make the sub a 1 ohm sub. When you bridge that 1 ohm load across two channels I would like to see a picture of the Audiobahn smoke!

Wire the coils in series instead, making it a 4 ohm sub.
