Ive had a compustar 2way in my car for over 2 years now, I just upgraded remotes. I had the old white one that had the 1/4 mile range, and just got the blue one that is label 2w900fmr (3000), also when upgrading I had to get a new antenna.
Anyways. Just about 2 days ago this started happing. I will arm my car at night around 10pm-12pm and it will sit untill about noon or when ever i go to drive it. Yesterday and today this has happen to me. I get the remote after the car has been setting and it had turbo mode and passive on it. I will press buttons, nothing lights up like the remote isnt getting a signal but the actual car is responding, i press one to unlock and disarm and it does it, but the remote acts as its not doing anything. The remote starter will not work, it tries to turn over but it just clicks and then it will shutoff and beep. I can get in the car, start it up with the key and the car starts up just fine. Once the car is started the turbo goes away on the remote but the passive stays on. I turn off passive (II & III) and it goes away. I shut off the car, try to arm it and the remote responds and works perfect, it will even remote start the car, but after sitting about overnight, the remote will reads turbo, and passive and does not respond at all, or I should say the remote thinks its not sending anything. I replaced the battery but it still does it.
So once I turn the car on with the key, everything is working perfect but after overnight, it does as stated above.
Any help, I would take it to the dealer that put it in but im about 3 hrs away from there
