96 Altima factory amps

i want to by an amplifier, and i'm trying to figure out how to go about my factory amps (two clarions). they're connected with a 12-pin connection (each), and are 12volts. will i have to bypass them, or are there any converters to a regular amp. from my stock wiring that will get the job done?
