sub box insulation

for a sealed box is it best to insulate the inside walls of the box with something? i don't nessecarily mean stuff it but at least cover the walls with either fiberglass or dynamat or anything on the inside? i will be using 3/4" MDF for the box....whats everyones thoughts on the insides?

I never put anything inside the ones that I build. If it is too small for the sub you can put some polyfill in it and make it sound better.

what is the best thing to use to seal the edges to make sure its air tight?
