Hi yes I can I recently bought on of these puppies and I am Very happy with the features.

I depends of course what model you have but most have dual circuit immobilisation along with auto door locking on set of alarm,  auto door locking when driving by pressing the brake.  It sounds like the digital shock sensor may be set too high.  Simply turn it down a little to reduce the sensitivity a little (I had to increase mine just a tad)

Only thing I don’t like and I am not sure of the law in the UK is the flashing lights when you get out of the car.  It sounds like a good Idea but I am not sure Plod would see it that way.

Cheers

HI, I'm thinking about this alarm or a similar one with remote start.

How does the remote start work if you have a manual gearbox, I don't want it driving off if I leave it in gear - lol.

Thanks in advance

Pete

Well You MUST have the handbrake On as there is a safety device that checks for this ground signal, If the car is in gear it will attempt to start the car only if the brake is on.....  If the car is in gear it will not start (Depending on how good the Hand Brake is of course.)

Its good practice to leave the car in Neutral but if you live on a hill etc you may not have the luxury

Cheers Eric
