What are the prefered brands for window modules?  I am planning to do 2 windows up/down and a sun roof.  I was a little surprised by the number of people having problems with the 530T on here.  The vehicle is a 2003 Mazda 6 with a Compustar 8000fm.

A lot of the problems with window mod's are associated with bad grounds, not using diodes to isolate them from the rest of the alarm, and bad wiring. The nice thing about the 530T is that it adds auto up down with 1 touch control on 2 windows per module. The install is similiar to a 5 wire door lock system. You need to connect to both the switch and the motor. The 530T has resistance dip switches to set how much force is required to fully close the system. They're not perfect for every vehicle but they are made by DEI who manufactures a quality product.

Do a search on window mods and you'll see a ton of information.

Good Luck

Jeff
