1997 Chev c/k 1500 door lock problem

I have a '97 Chev Z71 4x4 in which I have recently installed a Command Start CS320i remote start. I have everything working perfectly except for the door locks. I can't get them to work at all. I have keyless entry so I understand that my doors are positive lock. I have tried wiring in the double harness relay as per the 5-wire door lock diagram, but when I put power to the relays the doors lock and won't reopen. Can someone advise me what I'm doing wrong? Do I even need the relays like I was told? I was wondering if I could just wire from the Command Start module directly into the doorlock wires.

POWER LOCK|lt. blue            |*2 |either door boot            | |     POWER UNLOCK|white               |*2 |either door boot            | *2 5 wire (type C) on the two door models, and positive trigger (type A) on the four door and keyless entry models. If you have the keyless liek you mention you have postive not 5 wire.

Hoss, I just wired in my '97 burbin with a remote starter. For the unlock/lock, do as the last guy says. Pull out the drivers side kickpanel on the floor (plastic piece that surrounds the hood latch). It pulls outward towards the passenger side. Stuffed away inside a little cubby hole are a ton of connectors and BS. Pull out everything so it is in sight. Pop open the boot between the door and the truck and tug lightly on the harness in the boot. You should see which harness is what down there. After finding the appropriate harness, find the lt.blue and white wires. VERIFY with a multimeter that when you hold down the unlock/lock you get about 12v when doing so. Attach yours wires and your all set. Good luck!
