I've installed a DEI 552t along with a 555L on a 2002 Saturn L200.  I've checked and rechecked the wiring, read the directions several times and still the vehicle tries to crank but then immediately shuts down. I need some help as to I'm at a dead end. Really wondering if the 555L is bad. I have not set up a neg to neg relay and am not sure if the 552t is sending a neg output. Tried the blue and the blue/black wire. Anyone got any ideas.

The BLACK wire you must GROUND and the BLUE/BLACK wire you have to attach to the (-) when remote started wire from the 555T unit. Did you get a confirmation that the module learned the R-Code properly ?

Jeff, What do you mean about the confirmation of learned R-code? It didn't mention anything about a confirmation, it only says to let the vehicle run for greater than 5 sec. So, to ensure a sold ground on the black wire should I ground directly to the vehicle and not the bcm ground?   Thanks, Stiver
