hey im in desperate need of some help. i have a 98 gsr integra with the factory triad unit. were i scan the little transponder under the dash. well i friekin lost the keychain the other day and i have a spare key but no transponder! honda wants an extreme amount of money and i dont have it but need my car! is there a way for me to just disconnect it?

Sorry, but you are going to have to get new key with the chip. You might want to try ebay for a transponder key if the dealer is too high.

Go under the dash and reconnect the starter wire.

ok i got 2 opposite replies? sorry im not an electrical guy more body work. i think the starter wire sounds about right. could u explain a little better i wanna make sure its right. possibly a relay i can take out and then re-wire??
