Has anyone ever heard of putting a remote start on a lawn tractor? I am intrested in trying it out. Any tips would be great and if anyone has the wireing diagram or full manual for the "Car Pro CPX-RS1" Remote Start that would be great...

I am sure it could be done, but. As long as it is fuel injected. If not you will have to use a solinoid to pull the choke and or pump the throttle.

its not fuel injected but i was going to order a small actuator to do it and build a circuit to keep it up for 30 seconds and take it down after 30. my other only problem is the tach point.

Use alternator sensing if you could or if the unit supports a tachless mode, use it instead.

I put an Autopage 615 remote start on my Great Dane.  It has the 28 hp Kohler fuel injected motor.  Pretty easy, only one ignition wire.  I just wired my brake wire to a small toggle unit mounted by the seat.  Also, I built a small fiberglass case to house the remote start in, along with the factory computer.  Works great, really frieks people out when you get ready to mow!!!
