Is the 350HV easy to install? Any problems that someone with only basic Stereo installation experience would run into?

I can splice wires, solder, heat shrink & cable tie without to much difficulty. Plus my vehicle (2000 Xterra) is listed in the Wiring description area. Pretty confident that I can do it.

Any tips from anyone that has installed this model with an existing factory system? The Dome Light has a delay, that is about the only problem I can see.

I have installed different models. Is this alarm or remote start? The exterra is fairly easy but you may run into an issue with the remote start.

MECP certified (If it really means anything)

No remote start. Just basic alarm install. It's a manual transmission, so don't really want the manual start. Living in Arizona it's not so much of a problem as in colder climates.

YES, it is easy to instal, you don't have any problem just follow the instruction

how own your mind, control your life.

MECP certified. always use a DMM

The only thing you need to take note on is that you need to remove the steering column shroud to remove the underdash. And in AZ we have a reverse RS season, we use them to cool down.

easy alarm to install, plus the shock sensor is built into the brain so make sure to mount it in a good spot.

It's a manual trans anyway, I know the clutch check can be bypassed, but I'd rather stay safe and not risk it being in gear and causing an accident.

I wasn't saying anything about you doing a remote start in the truck, but was responding to your comment about colder climates. The only part of my post that applies to your install is the part about having to take the shroud off the ing column to get the underdash out.
