Your clutch should be a positive switch. Meaning put the keys in and turn to on. Find the lower clutch switch, one line should be +12v and the other line should show open or ground. Attach one probe of your meter to this line, ground the other probe. Push the clutch in, the meter should show +12v on this line that was open or showing ground. If this wire goes to +12v it needs to have a line attached to it that goes to +12v under remote start. 99% of the time this wire can be found as the starter wire on the remote start.

Like was mentioned earlier, what kind of RS system is this that you are putting in and does the unit have a safety setting or reservation mode for use in a manual transmission vehicle. Failure to use a unit with this type of setting can result in the vehicle starting in gear, not a good thing and definitely not recommended.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

And to add to that, it has a safety feature/mode, as well as an auto reservation mode. The unit is manual specific.
