hello, i just installed the compustar paging alarm system on my buddys 96 accord and evrything went smoothly but the remote randomly acts up,  for instance button one which arms and disarms the alarm. will somtimes only arm but wont disarm or vice versa, and when this is happening the trunck wont pop or the remote start wont work either, but then if you reprogram the remote it will start working properly again for allittle while????.  has anyone had compustar remotes act up like this before?? what could be the cause or what should be replaced first. this is a new brain and antenna too.

One of the nice feature that Compustar has is auto arming. I don't know if you are aware of this feature. If you held on to the button I for 2 second more you would have enter auto arming mode. This feature is the one where it sense you walking away from the car it will lock the car automatically and unlock when you are close to the car. If you are within 50ft you won't be able to lock the car. If you drop the remote that can be one of the problem. Compustar are good unit, haven't had a lot of problem with them.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.compustar alarm guru's i need your advice -- posted image.

Another thing to mention is that you can not do too many functions at one time make sure that you only press the button to do only ONE function , then wait about 1.5 seconds before pressing another button. If you press the buttons too close together , then it will not recognize the second command.
