Hi,
I just purchased and physically installed this DVD Player in my 2002 Chevy tahoe. The only thing left is wiring it. There are 4 wires. 1. Car 12V wire 2. Car Ground wire 3. Car ACC Ignition Switch Wire 4. Remote out Wire that provides DC when the DVD player is on.
Should I:
A: Buy a T-harness (Expensive)
B: Splice into the existing Head unit (Afraid)
C: Use this product in the fuse panel. (not sure if it has enough amps)
If anyone recommends option C, can you please tell me if there are two empy slots in th fuse block. i will ground to the chassis.
I sincerely appreciate any help.

if you can pull off the dash panel from around the radio, then remove the lower portion of the dash board by taking off the 2 7mm screws you will find the ignition harness.     they will be thick red, white, pink, orange, and brown wires. If you find and test these wires with a multimeter it will be your best way to go.     red will be 12v constant,  and any of the other wires will work for your switch power.    just test your wires then just make sure you use a fuse About(15-20 amps) and connect them.

I really appreciate your advice. I tore apart the dash last night and found the ignition harness like you mentioned. Per your instruction - will this type of Fuse Holder work?
Finally, How do i connect the wires. Should i tap into the harness or splice the wires?
thanks again

that fuse holder will work perfect, you can splice into those wires, by solder and tape or quick splice. other people will discourage the latter, but ive done thousands of cars and never had one come back due to a faulty connection
