I have recently begun to attempt to learn how to solder. I purchased a 150 watt soldering gun, some lead free rosin core solder and some heat shrink. i have been playing around with it and have no problems with actually soldering. I find though that the soldered joints are messy and sometime excess solder will drip off the work. Are these normal issues, will I improve with practice, or can anyone recommend a good tutorial for a beginner. thanks
