I am having a few problems and I need someone with knowledge with the Clifford Avantguard 4 alarm . I just moved the alarm from my Isuzu to my 99 Dodge Dakota. The first problem I am having is that after I shut off the engine the alarm keeps sending power to the accessory and heat/Ac wire ..... and it makes the dash gauges to flicker . Only when I turn the fan for the heat/ac no .. they stop .... what could be causing this? Also.... The inline Diode in the wire for the parking lights gets so hot it is burning the plastic on the crimp connectors and after a while turning them green. I hope someone can help me with these problems.   Thx in advance

Dodges pickups do not like extended accesory power on the heat/ac wire.  Change the heat/ac wire to true ignition or interupt the extended accesory power.  As for the diodes, they heat up when nightvision is on.  they are not needed on that vehicle, so just remove them and connect the brown wire directly to the parking lights.
