Hi there.  I'm new to the board so I'll start by sayig "Hi" to everyone here.

I am looking for a 3 way passive xover for my front stage setup.  Anyone know where I can get one or know where there might be a wiring diagram so I can make one?  Thanks.

Why is it when a man talks dirty to a woman it's sexual harressment, but when a woman talks dirty to a man it's 2.99 a minute????

A Passive crossover must be designed specifically to the speakers being used.  You can't just take a crossover and put them on some speakers and expect it to sound good.  The crossover is the most important part of a speaker system.  It takes a lot of expensive testing equipment and software to design them properly, plus a great deal of experience and skill.

What speakers are you using?

Steven is of course 100% correct.  It is nearly impossible to get an off-the-shelf crossover to sound as good as a crossover designed specifically for the speakers being used.  However, it is possible to get acceptable sound, especially in the non-critical listening environment in a car, using generic crossovers.  What speakers are you planning to use?

I'm not sure yet.  I was thinking of getting a 4" component set the ngetting a midbass to match my subs.  Should I just invest in a decent set on 3 way components?  Any suggestions on a good set?  Thanks for the info guys.

If you haven't purchased anything yet you should get a set of components with the crossover included and matched to the drivers.  Why 4"??

A 4" component set for the kick panels & 6 1/2" for the doors.  I've been lookin on Ebay for a 3 way component set.  Is Audiobahn any good?  I have never heard any of there product>  Thanks.

I wouldn't buy Audiobahn. Poor value, in my opinion.
However, I'd pursuade you to consider an electronic crossover between the component set and the midbass driver and bi-amping your front stage. See the benfits of bi-amping here: http://sound.westhost.com/bi-amp.htm

I agree with Kfr01.  Just buy a 4" (or larger) component set and get a set of midbasses.  It will probably save you money as a good 3 way component set is extremely expensive.  And it will give you more flexibility.

Ok.  Bi amping just might be the way to go.  I have an Infinity Kappa 255a 5 channel amp.  I was hoping to power a set of rear speakers with this amp, but I just might run them off the deck.  Decks these days seem to have a fair amount of power.  Thanks to everyone for all your input.  I'm gonna like it here.  I will definitley post pics when I am done.  Thanks again.
