what's up everyone? Someone gave me an alarm that was yanked out of a customer's car. It's a viper 550 esp that's a few years old.

It was hooked up before without the satellite relay harness (it was missing). I tried putting it in my car, but I can't seem to get in the programming setup. I don't have access to a Bitwriter, so I have to use the valet switch method.

The problem is the manual says the thick pink wire on the remote start harness has to be connected to access the setup. Does anyone know if there's a wire or something I can jumper or throw in a relay or two to make it work? I don't want to hook up remote start since I have a manual.

I might try getting the harness, but just wanted to see if anyone knew anything first. Anyways, thanks for reading, and any help you can offer.

You will need the satelite harness to have the ign to work with the alarm. I think someone posted a link before that had a place selling them pretty cheap.
