Hi,

I'm looking into getting a code alarm 545 or 645. I was wondering if any of you have an installation manual or any documentation for either of the systems?

Thanks,

Nathan

Neither.. Don't touch the circuit city nonsense..You have to buy a brain..a siren..remote..all extra options.. Go with the CA-640..includes everything. around $120-$140 shipped.. Ebay is one source..

CA-640 install manual

At CC you can buy the 645 for like 110 and the 425(brain) for 50.   And that includes everything.   So for just a bit more you can buy it today and install it right away.

CA-645 is not the same alarm as CA-640..completely different animals.. Do your research accordingly..
Buying anywhere else also won't give you warranty either.. My suggestion was merely to get an idea. These vendors want a dealer to install it. Designtech is one self install vendor that will allow a end-user warranty. Crimestopper is another one..at least as from my experience with their support dept. If you are technically adept, and want to learn more about this, buy the product and install it yourself. It can be quite a learning experience and the satisfaction of job well done..

That install manual makes me want to see the brain for that system.    Do you have any pics?     It looks like it would be super easy to make a really good pre-wire.

No I was wondering if you had pics of the 640.   I have installed crap loads of 425's.   I have went rounds with those damn things.   I am have just never seen the 640 and its manual sparked my interest.    It looked like a totally different master module.    Is that an older unit?

there is a new CA brain that is alot smaller the model is 425a.  alot better than the 425 because of the size.
If you say "I already know how", don't ask me a single question.
