Just wondering if the crossovers that just plug in between the preout and the amp (RCA) actually work.

The ones I'm talking about can be found on Crutchfield and have different ratings. I'm thinking about trying a 100hz low pass for my temp amp. I have a cheap amp that just amplifies all sound. It's running to my box with 2 10's.

All I want is a way to make my amp a low pass (for bass) until I can order the Kicker KX350.2.

Will these work (temporary of course) the way they are advertised? The're only 30 bucks so I thought i would try...

Bill
System in progress:
2 Kicker KX400.1's - 945w RMS
2 12" P3's in a ported box built by local shop
1 Kicker KX250.2 to drive the mids and highs
1 set Alpine SPR-136A for mids & highs

Yeah, they work... they are FAR from exact, or even REMOTELY audiophile gear, but for a temporary measure, sure... go ahead! 30 bucks is a pretty cheap band-aid, but do something better soon... you'll be glad you did.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Thanks for the reply. Yep, just a temp band aid. Planning on the Kicker when tax return comes  :-)
