I've got 2 12" fosgate punch hx2's sealed running 1000watts off a MAAudio SY5011DX @ 1ohm. With the same amp would a 15" XXX in a ported box some where around 32-35hz have more spl. The box would be whatever they recommend like 4cuft. I do have a 1 farad cap with the amp too. Thanks in advance.

I would think the 1 15" in the ported enclosure just may give you an increase in ouput and depth with more amplitude at that depth.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

The cap will add at least 23.565db. (not serious).
Model it up in WinISD or any other enclosure modeling software. It'll tell you. Just a guess - I highly doubt the 15" will be any louder above 40hz. The port will help fill out the bottom end of the 15".
Why don't you post the specs on both subs and I can give you a better guess.

I tried to download it here at work but it won't since they try to restrict downloading anything to the work computers. I'll have to wait til I get my home computer back from the shop.
