I am installing a ready remote start system on my 2004 dodge ram, i have bought an alarm bypass module. I am a little confused as to which, if any theft deterent system needs to be bypassed on the dodge ram? I installed all the basic wiring and tried to start the truck without the module connected yet and when pressing the start button, the dash lights light up, and then shut back off. Any ideas? Thanks, dan.

Transponder ign.system needs to be bypassed.

Also does your truck have the little security led (factory) on the dash, if so you need to use the correct lock unlock wires to disarm. Purple and blue are the lock unlock arm disarm. If no security the wire is purple and green.
