If you're talking 3000 watts RMS....You're out of your mind...
Why the need?

Orion makes the 2500D that I was researching, but it cost too much for me. It does 2500 watts RMS at 1 ohm. Hifonics makes the Brutus 2200D for about half the price of the Orion. There are several more, these are just 2 that I looked at last week. I'm going with the Brutus, mostly because of the price of the Orion. 1 other was Autotek. I think they have a 3000 watt amp that is also a good brand.

Harrison Labs used to make a really nice 3200 watt class D monoblock that was 1-ohm stable.  I believe it was around $1800, which isn't bad for that much real power.  They also had a 9600 watt model at one time, but I don't know if they still make it.  Drop them a line.  http://www.hlabs.com/

Unless you're competing seriously....3000 watts is rediculous!
Why do you need it?!

I can't answer for the saint, but for me, I want more power than I have got now. If I can get the Brutus for less than the price of a mmats with 1/3 the power, why not get it?

Haha, supra, I see what you mean.
But I'm looking at saint wondering what is going on in his head... I'm not sure if he really knows what he is getting into with 3000 watts... After all, he didn't bring any to the table, he just wants to know which ones will put out 3000 watts. Where's the research? That's why I'm asking him...
Does saint know that for 3000 watts, you'll be drawing more power. New alternators are in store for him, if he doesn't already have them. Also there are the issues like wiring (he's going to need some thick wire). Besides...I'm running less than 1800 watts rms, and I literally got complaints from my roomates that I was rattling the whole house, while trying to tune it this afternoon.
3000 watts will rattle his car to pieces!

"the saint" you should look into getting the biggest alternator you can get first...then build the stereo from there.  a 3000watt amp can't be a 3000 watt amp unless it gets the amperage it needs to run.  I just had to get a new alternator for my new system again since i will be drawing in excess of 300 amps max.
