2004 explorer dome light

Installing keyless entry still in 04 explorer. All these sites including dei is saying BLACK/ lt.blue. there is no black with light blue that go from 0 - 12 - 0 when doors are opened. Nor is there a (I think) Lt.GREEN/ pink that does the same..It is a 04 explorer slx BASE model.

In the drivers side windshield pillar are the wires for the electrics in the headliner.  There are two black.lt. blue wires in there.  One is definitely the wire that triggers the domelights, and it does go to 12 volts when the doors are open.  Hope this helps.

you WILL find the BLACK/ blue in the drivers running board area.

When you test the wire, hook on to it, then shut just the latch on the door. The latch IS the door pin!
