What Amp?

what kind of amp should i get for these? they are in a sealed box in the back of a 00 dodge neon. im lookin to spend about 2-300 but if i need to spend more i will. thanks

you can get a kenwood excelon 811d for 235.00 900 watts at 2 ohm run your subs in a parallel to get your 2 ohms

just to clarify running them at 2 ohms wont hurt the amp or the speakers since the speakers are 4ohms each correct?

Are those subs SVC or DVC? If they are DVC they cannot be ran at 2 ohms.

I doubt those Kenwood subs would handle (or need) 400 real watts a peice.

i messed up the subs are Kenwood KFC-W2503. here are the specs i can find

  • pearl mica injection-molded polypropylene woofer cone
  • tornado-type raised ridge construction for improved rigidity and dampened resonance
  • foam surround
  • extended pole piece and bumped back plate for increased cone excursion
  • power range 35-130 watts RMS
  • peak power handling: 500 watts
  • frequency range 28-800 Hz
  • sensitivity 91 dB SPL
  • top mount depth: 4-1/2"
  • there are 2 of them. if i find better specs i'll post. thanks and sry for the confusion
