I have a 95 Monte Carlo with power door locks that i want to hook up to my remote starter fob. Of course I have to use relays, but does it matter which order I hook up the wires to the relay? And do I have to use the middle switch on the relay? Also how do I know if my locks are a 3,4,or 5 wire setup? I have a general understanding of this stuff but would like to just double check. Remote starter is a two button Pro start.
thanks

your car should have a 3  wire (+)pulse door lock sytem if your alarm is capable of sending out a positive pulse then you need no relays if not you will need 2 relays wired as shown in this forumn on the 3 wire sytem door lock page, your power lock wire should be (light blue) located at the drivers kick panel. Your unlock wire should be (white) and located below glove box now these wires will rest at ground and pulse positive on lock or unlock.
