i have the viper 550 esp. when i remote start the parking lights flash. you can program it to not do thisaccording to the manual. but i was told by my installer that in the type of vehicle that i have the parking lights will always flash and theres nothing i can do about it. i have a 1999 jeep grand cherokee. i dont like the lights to flash i think it draws attention to my car. can someone please help

How did the installer connect your lights? If he used the light flash output from the alarm/remote start, you would be able to program it.  Let us know.

the light flash is probably coming from the jeep doorlock module that disarm the factory alarm. this turn the alarm off and flashes the pk lights at the same time.

You should be able to set them steady.
