Finding Tach wire on 95 pathfinder

I cant find the tach wire on my 95 pathfinder.

can you reach a fuel injector? if so meter one of the wires from the injector

TACHOMETER wire is a WHITE wire found at the large. connector by drivers kick panel.

how would i check for the tach signal?  I just want to make sure i am doing it right.

On my pathfinder, I used the white wire on the harness that comes out from the bottom of the distributer.  This is on the 95 V6 engine.
