Does anyone know if you can put mp3's on a dvd disk and play it on the avic? I tried but it says invalid disc. Any help will be apreciated

I don't think so. I've said for quite a while that one be a great feature. 4 gigs of mp3s. You would only need one disk.

Not that I am aware of for the AVIC-N1, but JVC has at least 2-3 headunits & 1 overhead sreen/DVD combo that can handle DVDs with MP3. They call it "GIGA MP3" capability - about 1000 songs per DVD = 4 Gig. iPod Mini.

These are in the Arsenal series - they maybe an equivolate in the regular line - Arsenal is their step-up line - 2 yr. warranty, better feature sets & cosmetics.

KD-ADV6160 AM/FM DVD Radio, no video screen, 1 Din size

KD-AVX1 AM/FM DVD Radio w/3" LCD for backup camera/ video, 1 Din

KV-MDR900 9 " Overhead DVD/Screen Combo

6160 is available now - the others - approx. 1 month

Experience gained is directly proportional to the amount of equipment destroyed - break it & learn!
