Hello, I just recently bought a Alpine M350 amp and two Alpine 10 inch subs. My question is iam wanting to use the factory deck which is NON Bose with onstar. I know i can't use the RCA plugs and need to use the Speaker input leads. My question is where is the closet place to hook these up to the speakers(or do i need to run separte wires to the rear door speakers) or is there a factory amp somewhere in the back close. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi  I just did this same install in an 02 Silverado.  I had to run speaker wire from the rear doors into the amp.  I'm sure the Tahoe is a little different, but I thought I'd let you know.  It wasn't very difficult in the Silverado.  The door panel pops off in a minute, the speaker in a few seconds.  Then I just used a metal coathanger as a needle to thread the speaker wire through the boot in the door jamb and wired it up.  Hope this helps a little.
