Sorry, this is what I meant to post:

You simply daisy chain the LEDs together connecting the negative lead of LED 1 to ground lead from the alarm brain and the positive lead from LED 1 to the negative lead of LED 2.  The positive lead of LED 2 connects to the negative lead of LED 3, etc.

When you get the positive lead of LED 5  you'll connect that to the positive LED output from the alarm brain.

It's easier than it sounds.   ;)

I should further clarify that above I meant this:

You simply daisy chain the LEDs together connecting the negative lead of LED 1 to ground lead from the alarm brain LED connection wire (not the ground power wire for the alarm brain) and the positive lead from LED 1 to the negative lead of LED 2.  The positive lead of LED 2 connects to the negative lead of LED 3, etc.

Sorry, late night....

Are the LEDs I bought from Radio Shack.  Seems like they are not very bright.  And they only have a 60 deg angle of view.  Would I be better off putting something together on my own?  If so, How do I do it?

Thanks,

Corey
