Fiberglass Matting / Cloth Question

Have no clue what this is or what it looks like.  If you could elaborate a little more or a picture would be very helpful.  Or maybe someone else knows what this is.Learning the trade one fiberglass creation at a time!

drywall tape could work. never thought of that.

if its what I'm thinking of, I wouldn't use it. Is it like the mesh stuff? If so that probley won't work.Nik

not much strength in it. fiberglass cloth has more tensil strength then the drywall mesh tape. wouldn't reccomend in place of FG.

nope...i tried it on my very first project ever (a spoiler for my car which was made of wood, routered and covered in a layer of fiberglass...didnt last thru the winter before it started cracking) i had trouble around the tight bends cause it wasnt really sticky enough, It just wasnt much fun, the mat is my favorite, although i think the cloth looks kinda cool cause it leaves sort of a carbon fiberish effect.
