1994 ranger, how to get most out of system?

hey,iv gotta 94 ranger xtra cab with a JL 12in w3v2 and a rockford amp pushin about 300somin watts RMS,i was wondering how you guys think i could get the "most" out of my system by say adding like dynamat to the rear wall and on the floor in the back?it sounds great right now but it seems liek i could get better sound outta my JL..thanks for your help guys... Travis

Definitely add damping.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Ok I second the dynamat, it will help alot. I don't understand how a line driver would help at all.

Dynamat or brown bread.........what ever you deciede to use........ dampening is the way to go...

simple math. 2v x 300 watts = X amount of power. 8v x 300 watts = y  amount. y is bigger.

That simply isn't how it works. At all.

AT BEST a line driver _could_ help noise. AT BEST. It WILL NOT increase power. Repeat. IT WILL NOT INCREASE POWER.
Where did you get that advice? Or did you just come up with that yourself?
