I have a 99 Isuzu Rodeo I am wanting to put an alarm on...

I need Servos for the door locks and a decent alarm....All I want it to do is Lock/Unlock front doors and rear hatch...

and A decent alarm system....So it doesnt need to do remote start or anything

Some of the options I would like on the alarm is window sensors and hood, door and hatch protection....

Sorry if I sound retarded but I dont mess with alarms much and dont know what I am really asking for so if you could recomend a good alarm that will fit my needs I would appreciate it.....

Any DEI alarm. Just find the one with the options you want. Don't worry much about whether its viper or python or what not, they're all more or less the same thing. Pretty much any alarm named after a snake.

Our shop deals Autopage and Code Alarm, I find both are good products. You should be able to get the options you are looking for with either of these, as well as any decent alarm system, you aren't asking for much more than a basic alarm.

I have an Autopage on my personal vehicle. And have had no problems with it. We tend to install more Autopage than Code Alarm, but have had very minimal returns with problems, mostly dead batteries on remotes.

Code alarms' new 425A brain is a great piece, they've slimmed it down greatly from the VHS tape it used to be, and the internal shock sensor issue has been totally fixed from their tech's word ( though that could mean they removed it, from the looks they took out the built in second accessory relay ). Plus their remotes have great range, I've installed Viper for over a year before getting code and would gladly put one in my own car.

Compustar, Autopage and DEI are have pretty much sewn up the alarm market for decent equipment.

You may want to check out Omega.  They have a feature not seen much that notifies you whenever someone programs a new remote into your system.  Not a huge thing, but a little peace of mind.  I installed their 745i4 and it has been excellent.  Crutchfield sells them.  Forget all their custom harnesses.. just wire it yourself and it will be cleaner, IMHO.  I recommend Crutchfield if you are at all queasy about the install because their tech support is top notch.
