dblock from alternator

Would it be a problem if I ran my power wire 1/0 from my alternator to one side of my distribution block, and ran two outputs from the dblock, one to my battery, and one to my amplifier?  Also is this going to be ok for the accessories, it is still getting power through the battery right?  I am doing my big three and I want everything to go smoothly, and should I also upgrade the wire from the accessory fuse box to the battery, like 4ga or something?

im not sure, but i dunno if hooking up ur amp directly from ur alternator would be a smart idea, or even if it would work. its just i never heard of that before, and so i couldnt say...but it seems to me that it would be best if you just used the 1/0 gauge for the alternator to battery+ wire and then had another wire from the battery for ur amp.

Well that would be nice, however I could not find any battery terminals with 2 1/0 inputs along with at least 1 8 ga input.  So now you see my dilema, anyone?

From my experience it's better to hit the battery direct from the alternator then out to your ACC. The battery acts as a noise filter and helps to smooth out voltage. www.wranglernw.com has part number 34-003P which is a battery terminal you can add or subtract whatever you need with ring terminals and is very heavy duty. I have x2 1/0AGW and 1x4 AWG off of one and works excellent.
