Hi guys, was just wondering if anyone can tell more approx how much raw materials would I need to build the enclosure as per attached? i.e. resin, hardener etc. I think the guys here sell in kilograms.. Thanks alot.

the attachment did not show...but need more info on what your planning on doing (I.E how big is going to be where is it going what size subs.. ect.)

its all metric, ahhh, hehehe. 82mm= 3.22inches, 360mm= 14.17inches, 130mm= 5.11inches, 680mm= 26.77inches

Its going behind seat of a pickup. I have a 12" Pioneer sub (1200W peak). Going FG is only option to get required volume without having to cut thru to back and using MDF...

No problem man. On my box which is similar in some areas of your box, I used 9 square yards of cloth I think, and I used about 1 1/2 gallons of resin. Are you going to be using any mdf, like for the back or anything, or are you going all fiberglass????

You HAVE to use MDF in that box. You will get horrible sound if you try and make all those flat areas out of FG. That box will be flexin' everywhichaway. That is, if you even can get it to turn out right without MDF. I just don't see it happening. Your better off making it out of MDF and changing deminsions to compensate for the lack of space (i.e. make it wider).

I was thinking of just using FG. Maybe combination of MDF and FG e.g. 1/2" of little less MDF covered with few layers of FG? Problem is that I really cannot make it wider of bigger, will gain some by FG filling up pockets where MDF cannot

No point in using fiberglass in that box and you actually shouldn't. Fiberglass is weak in flat surfaces. Stick with wood.
