i have a sony xr-c550 that has an aux input on the back, however I do not know how to get it to play from it, i've tried every button and i cannot find the manual. does anyone have any ideas?

Did you try switching around the source??

I know Kenwood models sense when there is a device plugged into the aux. inputs and automatically has an aux option when you scroll through source options ( i.e. FM, AM, CD, and when attached, AUX and also SIRIUS)

I don't know if this will help any, it was a shot in the dark, as I am not very familiar with those models.

good idea, that was the first thing i tried, but to no avail

If you haven't, maybe try scrolling through the menu, there may be an option to turn inputs on and off, another shot in the dark, im just trying to work the possibilities here buddy, I am not familiar with this deck, as I have said, but I'll try to help you get it, until I guess either we do, or someone that knows that deck gives you a hand!!

if there's any other site anyone knows about that has manuals or information on that unit, that would be a great help too!
