I plan on getting those subs, but i need help on deciding what amp to power them. I was looking at the VGA-800.2 from Soundstream, but was also looking at some Hifonics Brutus Mono blocks?? I have heard these subs can handle more than the 350w RMS than spec. I was wondering what RMS wattage should I be looking at with my amp purchase?? I heard they can handle upwards of like 600w RMS?? I am debating on a 2 channel amp or the mono block amp Pro's and Con's of each??

Don't run them with 600w. There's no point. Run near the RMS or below.
Before you think about power you need to decide what enclosure you're going with... have you decided.

I am going to go with a sealed enclosure with about .88 cft a sub. That is what Image Dynamics suggests.
