Hi im new to this forum, but seems like a great place to get info, good job!

Im currently workin on some custom doors in my car, and have removed the interior door handles to be replaced by 2 wire actuators which are triggered by pressing a push button switch, the problem im having now is that the solenoids dont seem to be as powerful as when we tested them.

Basically the Circuit is connected from the positive battery to the switch, then from one side of the switch to the solenoid, then the other wire on the solenoid is direct to the negative terminal on the battery (Not Ground, which im not sure what the difference is)

Unfortunately not a wiring expert, so not to sure what to do, heres a pic of the solenoids im using, are these ok for pulling the door latch?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

use relays.  just like using actuators to add power locks.
If you say "I already know how", don't ask me a single question.
