Anyone know of a module that will work with the rear power window in a 05 explorer sport trac?  The wiring at the motor appears to be constant 12v, ignition, neg pulse up, neg pulse down and neg pulse vent, there is also a a door pin to allow you to turn off the ignition and still roll the window up with the doors closed. DEI makes one for sunroofs however the wiring appears to be different. I would rather use a module then several relays, any ideas?????

Get yourself a 529T and make a friend with someone who has a directech.com membership.  They can get in touch with DEI directly to get professional advice on how to approach this.

If you're going to use relays, you could interface at the switch and used timed relays.   This will likely end up costing more total than the 529T and the 529T should be able to work if you get some advice on the wiring.

Direct tech says 529T will not work....(2) 528T are needed instead, because the ignition wire can't be recognized by the 529T and shut itself off.  Thus if you sit in the vehicle and arm the alarm you could control the window by the switch without the key.  Thus the mere energizing of the circuit will drain your battery.

The 528T will turn off after 30 seconds.....If anyone has any other ideas let me know.

Maybe im not being clear, let me try again...           The wiring for the rear window is as follows  12v power, ground, ignition, negative pulse up, negative pulse down, negative pulse to vent the window, and a pin switch wire which is used when you turn off the ignition you can still roll up the window until you open the front doors then the window stops.  The window will not work until 12v is applied to the ignition wire to the motor.  529T's are designed to see a back feed on the voltage going out to shut down, this does not occur when it is wired in.  I found that a 528T will shut off after a few seconds, it supplies 12v to the windows ignition wire then you send your neg pulse according to what you want to do.
