this was only an option on lariat models, there is no harness,to make it work you will have to wire in the vehicle speed sensor, fuel tank sensor, isolink, temp sensor, warninglights, dataoutput, illumfeed.               my suggestion. get a 2005 lariat overhead console (it has no electronics they are on the dash now)and a rear view mirror from aftermarket w/compass&temp&autodim.cheaper& much simpler install at least thats what im going to do in my 04 xlt. hope that helps.

Johnny567,

Are you sure? I have a friend who has a 2002 F-150 XLT with a factory overhead console.

Have you looked to see if there is a harness under the headliner?

The F 150 still have the overhead on there XLT models, different horse with the F250.

Looked into having one installed in my Xlt F 250 , and dealer wanted 889. installed

Try and find one in a junk yard.
