I have installed a flip down tv , dvd and fm modulator in my ford 2004 exp. The problem is that  there is a noise from speakers. The guy at the radio shop told me i had to upgrade my headunit. . But how does ford do it with there factory stuff. thanks for readingflip down tv - Last Post -- posted image.

What kind of noise and when does it happen? Without knowing more I would add an RCA style noise filter right at the fm modulator.

I have installed a noise filter right at the fm modulator. The noise is still there.

Please provide the brand of FM modulator. 

#1.  Are u getting engine noise? or standard whistle.

#2. I do suppest using a Audiovox FM modulator kit where it includes line filters.  They seem to have the best FM modulators.

#3. Also try to ground the FM Modulator separte from other source.
