hey guys whats up? i just recently installed a clarion head unit in my 2002 LT Tahoe. everything works fin except the volume. its wayyyyy low. even if i crank it its still barely anything. i can put it to the max and crack open a window and i cant hear it almost.

Do u guys know what i can do to make it bump like it use to with the stock head unit?

Has anyone else had this problem?

What other equipment do you have. Are there amps and subs?

Is it the BOSE system,  if so those are common ground front and rear systems. In those systems we use the Soundgate XR4 to integrate with the BOSE amp. If it is not the BOSE system then you may want to grab another pair of speakers and connnect them to your head unit to test. If then u have decent sound then the factory amp may be going bad. As always double check your connections are right.

naw its all stock except for the head unit. i used the PAC OS2 so that i could keep onstar. Naw its not the bose system. it just sucks cause before i put the new unit in it would bump but now it doesnt. i though it was my connections at first but the i started playing around with it and nothing happened.

so ur suggesting that i hook up another speaker that i have and see if it makes a difference?
