if an amp calls for 2 20amp fuses, does it matter if i put w 30amp fuses in? will it damage the amp, or not matter?

i wouldnt reccoment using 30amp fuses...they probly put the 20 amps in because things will start to fry at higher amperage. if u have to go different than go lower...but fuses are cheap...i would buy some.
