Anyone know of a good place to route power wire through the firewall of a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

well, there is a hole in the lower left on the drivers side (look way left of the petals) that will work with a small power cable. I ended up running my amp cable underneath the car and pulling it up under the back seat. If you zip-tie it to the frame rails that should work fine too, just be shure not to let the wire hang down...that wouldn't be good!

run the power wire under the truck???  i'm no professional, but i do enjoy making my ride sound better and have done many installs on my own.  I havenever run my power wire under the car...and never will.  I was just looking to save the truoble of drilling through something important.  So, anyone ever done an installon a 97 JGC?  if so, where did you run the power wire?

There should be a big rubber gromit on the floor under the carpet to the left of the pedals like Dret said. It is normally up fairly high on the inside of the floorboard. But i personally would never run a power wire underneath of the vehicle, that could cause serious problems down the road.
