I'm sure this has been asked and answered before but a search of history did not find a previous post.  I want to change out the radio in my 2000 Toyota 4-Runner and am just reluctant to pull very hard on the radio surround without knowing for sure if that is the correct way to remove it.  I went to techinfo.toyota.com but could find nothing there either.  A search of my owner's manual did not find any information re removal of the radio.  Any insights or recommendations would be appreciated.  Louis Herndon

Unclip both the parking brake trim panel and the gearshift trim bezel. pull the ashtray, remove one screw behind it. Pull the climate control knobs. Remove the climate control trim panel. Remove the two exposed screws holding in the radio trim panel. remove the radio trim panel.  remove the 4 screws holding in the factory head unit..
